General Surgery Mission Trips
Typical surgeries that might be performed during a general surgery mission trip include:
- Hernia repair
- Imperforate anus repair
- Removal of masses and/or cysts
- Cholecystectomies
- Splenectomies
On average, 65 surgeries are performed per mission week.
There are no language requirements for mission teams as The Moore Center provides translators.
